Training & Education
Sector projects.
Teaching sells a promise with a long fuse: at the end of this you will be able to do something you cannot do today. Nobody gets to test that before paying, so they judge everything around it — who teaches, what the handouts look like, how the front desk answers the phone. We have two projects here: the brand guidelines of a training centre and a platform for learning Sardinian. Two, not twenty. This page is what they taught us.
Why one training centre looks like the next
Open three providers and the picture repeats: a classroom, a handshake, an institutional blue, the same stock photograph. Nobody outside can tell a serious programme from a course sold by the kilo.
The second problem is not the mark but its daily life. Training makes material without stopping — certificates, badges, handouts, posters, the opening slide, the post for the intake starting Monday. The front desk puts that together at the end of the day, or the tutor does. With no written rules, three intakes later one identity has quietly become four.
The third: selling a course and teaching it are different trades. The page that convinces gets read once. The tool you learn with is opened a hundred times, goes wrong, gets tried again. A brochure cannot carry that weight.
What a training centre actually needs
A mark about people that photographs none of them, and still reads at two centimetres on a badge. A stated type hierarchy, so a handout and a slide use the same levels. A document that answers in our place, every application shown as it was really made. And when the product is the teaching itself, a tool that works on the phone the student already holds.
What we built
ARES Centro Formazione works with entrepreneurs, young talents and new generations. Its phrase is Crescere insieme, growing together, and the symbol says it before the text does: stylised figures in a circle around a red dot, people around the centre of growth. Built on a grid, proportions and clear space declared, it holds at small sizes and generates the official pattern. Type is a pairing — Hero for headings, Haigie for text — with the hierarchy documented across three levels. Colour is deep green and coral with cream and black: warm, and outside the category blue without going unserious. Twenty-three pages in six chapters, right through to the applications: hoodies, badges with lanyards, folders, keychains, the building sign, the centre's car.
Academia de su Sardu is the other end of this sector. In 2021 we made an interactive platform for the Sardinian language: that is how the line in our archive puts it, and it is all that survives — the project has no portfolio entry. We name it anyway. A language is not taught with a brochure, and that is the half of the trade ARES does not show.
Two projects are two projects. If you want twenty training centres on a shelf, that is not us. What we know how to make is the mark and the document that keeps it standing (branding and guidelines), and the thing people learn on (websites, applications). Tell us about your centre in the online quote: a few questions, a clear estimate, no commitment.
Frequently asked.
Almost never, because someone else is the one using it. For ARES we delivered twenty-three pages in six chapters: whoever is making a certificate or a poster at six in the evening finds the rule written down instead of inventing one.
By changing the subject. The ARES symbol is stylised figures in a circle around a red dot — people around the centre of growth — and the palette is deep green and coral, not the category blue.
The front desk, the tutors, the print shop down the road. That is why the ARES guidelines show each application as it was really made: badge with lanyard, hoodie, folder, the sign on the building, the centre's car.
Yes, and it is a different project, because the page has a different job. Academia de su Sardu, in 2021, was an interactive platform for the Sardinian language — a site built to be used, not to announce that it existed.
Two: the brand guidelines for ARES Centro Formazione and the Academia de su Sardu platform. We would rather say so than pad a list — what we bring here comes from those and from the work done in the other sectors.
