Context
Valentina Lai teaches Pilates on the Costa Smeralda. Flow Porto Cervo is her platform: a subscription web app with on-demand classes, guided programs and live sessions in one place. A real digital product — accounts, payments, member-only content — not a showcase site with a few videos on it.
Challenge
The platform has to handle several flows at once: signup, free and premium content, live streams, recurring payments, gifts. And it has to stay simple for someone opening it on a phone to train, not to browse. SaaS complexity underneath, an immediate experience on top — with what's included in each plan clear at a glance.
Strategy
Freemium, three tiers: Free, Essential, Complete. A free account lowers the entry barrier; multi-step onboarding guides signup and suggests a personalised path. Premium programs and live sessions with Valentina give a concrete reason to upgrade. The Gift Card — personalised, delivered via WhatsApp — opens one more channel: gifting.
Design
Designed around the most frequent gesture: find a class, press play. The video library scans in seconds; premium programs follow a clear step-by-step structure; the pricing page puts the three plans side by side with no ambiguity. The Gift Card shows a preview before it is sent.
Development
A web app with user accounts and content gated by subscription tier. HD on-demand video library, structured premium programs, live sessions with on-demand replays. Recurring payments on Stripe across Free, Essential (€19) and Complete (€39). Personalised Gift Cards delivered via WhatsApp. Multi-step onboarding with a free account.

Results
Valentina's Pilates is now a complete digital product. Classes are available on demand, live sessions stay watchable as replays, subscriptions run on their own, and a Gift Card reaches its recipient directly on WhatsApp. The whole platform is live at app.flowportocervo.it.
