Yacht & Charter
Fleets sold through PDFs and word of mouth, bookings handled by hand, an international clientele deciding from a phone on the quay.
Sector projects.
Yacht charter sells an experience worth tens of thousands of euros with leaflet-grade tools: PDFs, dated galleries, enquiries by email. Someone chartering a yacht compares operators from half the world away, often on a phone, often last minute. They expect what a five-star hotel gives them: see the boat, understand the price, lock the week. And in Sardinia, where the season packs almost all the work into a few months, every lost enquiry counts double.
The problem in this sector
The fleet changes, rates change, availability changes every week — and the site stands still. The price list lives in a PDF that starts ageing the day it's published. Enquiries come in vague, with no dates and no budget, and every negotiation starts from zero: emails, phone calls, spreadsheets to double-check. Meanwhile the client has already written to three other operators. And operators who sell boats as well as charter them often end up with two disconnected sites, or with brokerage reduced to a contact page.
What you actually need
A catalogue with a real page for every yacht and every destination, not photocopied listings. A search that reaches the right boat in a few steps. A booking flow that shows real rates and availability, so enquiries arrive already qualified: dates, boat, budget. Bilingual at minimum, because the clientele is international. And a single content base you can update from in high season, without going through a developer.
How we built it
For Your Charter we built exactly that: a luxury charter and brokerage platform with 180 yachts across 11 destinations. We set it up on two tracks. On one side, the catalogue: structured yacht pages, smart search with filters that narrow the field fast, booking with live rates and availability. On the other, the content: editorial pages for every yacht and every destination that tell the story before selling — because a week at sea is also chosen with the eyes.
Charter, sales and concierge share one architecture without getting in each other's way: people renting a boat and people buying one follow different paths through the same system. Everything runs bilingual IT/EN from a single content base, with integrated analytics to read how users behave. It's the kind of project where websites and app development meet: half photographic showcase, half operating machine. The platform is live at yourcharter.it.
The sea doesn't end there for us: our clients also include 5 Star Mooring, which handles moorings.
If you run a fleet — two boats or two hundred — the starting point is the same: work out what the site has to do before designing it. Tell us how you work today and what you want to stop managing by hand: request a quote and we'll come back with a concrete proposal.
Frequently asked.
Yes. For Your Charter, booking reads live rates and availability: clients see the price of the exact week they are looking at, not a PDF price list to confirm by email.
There is no practical limit. The Your Charter platform runs 180 yachts across 11 destinations from a single content base, with structured pages and filtered search.
No. Charter and sales can share the same architecture, as they do on Your Charter: separate paths for people renting and people buying, one system to manage.
Italian and English at minimum — charter clients are international. Better one system that manages languages from a single content base than two parallel sites kept in sync by hand.
From the platform's admin panel, without touching code. When a boat joins or leaves the fleet its page updates, and live rates mean no rebuilding the price list at every change.
