Fleets sold and chartered through PDFs and word of mouth, enquiries handled by hand, an international clientele deciding from a phone on the quay.

A yacht broker sells and charters assets worth hundreds of thousands of
euros with leaflet-grade tools: PDFs, dated galleries, enquiries by
email. Someone buying a boat, like someone chartering one, compares
brokers from half the world away, often on a phone, often last minute.
They expect what a five-star hotel gives them: see the boat, understand
the price, talk to someone who knows her. And in Sardinia, where the
season packs almost all the work into a few months, every lost enquiry
counts double.

## The problem in this sector

The fleet changes, rates change, availability changes every week — and
the site stands still. The price list lives in a PDF that starts ageing
the day it's published. Enquiries come in vague, with no dates and no
budget, and every negotiation starts from zero: emails, phone calls,
spreadsheets to double-check. Meanwhile the client has already written
to three other brokers. And brokers who do sales, charter and management
together often end up with two disconnected sites, or with sales
reduced to a contact page under the charter catalogue.

## What you actually need

A catalogue with a real page for every yacht and every destination, not
photocopied listings. A search that reaches the right boat in a few
steps. For charterers, real rates and availability; for buyers, the full
specification and the broker to call. That way enquiries arrive already
qualified: boat, dates or budget, what the client wants to do. Bilingual
at minimum, because the clientele is international. And a single content
base you can update from in high season, without going through a
developer.

## How we built it

For [Your Charter](/en/work/your-charter/), a yacht broker based in
Porto Cervo, we built exactly that: a platform for sales, charter, yacht
management and concierge with 180 yachts across 11 destinations. We set
it up on two tracks. On one side, the catalogue: structured yacht pages,
smart search with filters that narrow the field fast, charter enquiries
with live rates and availability, a brokerage area. On the other, the
content: editorial pages for every yacht and every destination that
tell the story before selling — because a boat is also chosen with the
eyes.

The four services share one architecture without getting in each
other's way: people buying a boat and people chartering one follow
different paths through the same system, and the same boat can sit in
both windows with a single page. Everything runs bilingual IT/EN from a
single content base, with integrated analytics to read how users
behave. It's the kind of project where
[websites](/en/services/websites/) and [app
development](/en/services/app-development/) meet: half photographic
showcase, half operating machine. The platform is live at
yourcharter.it.

The sea doesn't end there for us: our clients also include 5 Star
Mooring, which handles moorings.

If you run a fleet — two boats or two hundred, for sale or for charter —
the starting point is the same: work out what the site has to do before
designing it. Tell us how you work today and what you want to stop
managing by hand: [request a quote](/en/quote/): we come back with what
we would build first, and what it costs.

## FAQ

### Can the site show live rates and availability?

Yes. For Your Charter, charter enquiries read live rates and availability: clients see the price of the exact week they are looking at, not a PDF price list to confirm by email.

### How many yachts can the catalogue handle?

There is no practical limit. The Your Charter platform runs 180 yachts across 11 destinations from a single content base, with structured pages and filtered search.

### Can sales and charter live on the same site?

Yes, and it works better that way. On Your Charter the same boat can be for sale and for charter: one page, two paths — buyers find the full specification and the broker to call, charterers find rates and availability. One system to manage.

### How many languages should we publish in?

Italian and English at minimum — a yacht broker's clients are international. Better one system that manages languages from a single content base than two parallel sites kept in sync by hand.

### How do we update the fleet and rates mid-season?

From the platform's admin panel, without touching code. When a boat joins or leaves the fleet its page updates, and live rates mean no rebuilding the price list at every change.
