# Websites and booking apps for wellness and beauty

> Online booking, client CRM and loyalty for salons, spas and Pilates studios, brand included. The wellness work of studio jem in Sardinia.

The diary fills up by voice and empties when someone doesn't show: bookings live in a notebook, packages in the owner's head, clients in a WhatsApp thread where nobody is keeping count.

A wellness business lives on appointments that repeat, and usually runs
them with the wrong tools: a notebook, a phone ringing while your hands
are busy, a chat where confirmations get buried. We have worked this
sector five times: a brand from nothing, a salon with its own management
suite, a bilingual Pilates studio and its online platform, a cosmetics
line.

## What breaks first

The value of a centre sits in the clients who come back, and hardly
anyone counts them. The address book is the owner's phone. Packages
get counted from memory. A no-show surfaces at closing time, when the
chair has already stayed empty.

Then there is the hour nobody mentions: people book in the evening,
with the centre shut. If the only answer is "call us tomorrow",
half of those decisions are gone by morning.

And the service is often new. Longevity, EMS training,
anti-inflammaging nutrition, Classical Pilates: words the client has never
heard. No booking system rescues a page that cannot say what you are
buying.

## What a centre actually needs

Booking on real availability, not a contact form: treatment,
specialist, hour, confirmed on the spot. Reminders on WhatsApp, because
that is where people read. Client records held by the centre: treatment
history, packages left, preferences. One shared calendar once there is
more than one pair of hands. And pages that explain the method: in
wellness you buy a course of work, not one session.

## What we've built

**[Estetica Valeria](/en/work/estetica-valeria/)** is the fullest case: a
whole suite for Valeria Spano's salon. Three-step booking on live slots,
multi-staff calendar, client CRM with packages, gift cards and product
orders, a shop for the professional range, the Cristalli Beauty loyalty
programme, a WhatsApp centre with templates, reminders and broadcasts.
Not a site with a Book button: the salon's management system that
happens to have a site.

**[LOWE](/en/work/lowe-longevity-wellness/)**, the first Longevity
Wellness centre in Sassari, began at the other end: the name meant nothing
to anyone, so the mark came first (organic lettering in green and
yellow), then the editorial site explaining the 30-minute EMS workout,
anti-inflammaging nutrition and what training for duration means. The
identity carried on into signage, the shop window and the brochure.

**[Flow Studio Pilates](/en/work/flow-porto-cervo/)** in Porto Cervo has
one teacher, Valentina Lai, and two audiences that share nothing: those
who come to the studio, those who follow from elsewhere. The site is
editorial and bilingual, in her own voice. Then the distant
audience became a product of its own — **[the online
platform](/en/work/app-flow-porto-cervo/)** with an on-demand video
library, premium programmes, live sessions with replays, three
subscription tiers and Gift Cards delivered over WhatsApp.

Rosella Corda is the product half of the sector: family cosmetics made
in Sardinia since 1994, with a monogram, photography on marble and nine
tiles that make one drawing.

Five projects, one direction: [websites](/en/services/websites/) that
explain the method before asking for a booking, and
[applications](/en/services/app-development/) that lift the diary out of
the notebook as the centre grows. When the service is new, we start at
the [brand](/en/services/branding-logo/).

If clients come back but you cannot say how many, the problem is not
marketing: nobody is collecting the number. Tell us about your centre in the
[online quote](/en/quote/): what it costs and how long it takes, in writing.

## FAQ

### Do we need online booking if our clients phone us anyway?

Clients phone while the salon is open, which is exactly when you are working. Online booking covers the evening and the Sunday, when someone decides to come in and has nobody to call. For Estetica Valeria it runs in three steps on live availability: treatment, specialist, an hour that is genuinely free.

### What actually reduces no-shows?

Automatic reminders, sent where the client reads them: WhatsApp, not email. In Estetica Valeria's communications centre the message templates, the reminders and the broadcasts sit in the same panel as the diary, so whoever sends the reminder also sees who failed to turn up last time.

### Can several specialists work off one calendar?

Yes. A multi-staff calendar assigns each treatment to the person who performs it, with her own hours, so you can see at a glance who is free and two appointments never land on the same chair.

### Is there any point selling professional products online?

There is, if you already sell them in the treatment room: someone who trusts the treatment buys the cream. Estetica Valeria's shop sits inside the same site as the booking, and the loyalty programme ties the two together — points earned on treatments can be spent on products.

### How much does branding matter for a wellness centre?

It matters when the service is new and needs explaining. For LOWE, the first Longevity Wellness centre in Sassari, we made the mark before the site: the name told nobody anything, and the identity had to say "this is about lasting longer" ahead of any sentence.
